  • Infinity Pool, 2023 - ★★½ January 29, 2023
Oh, here is a movie about rich people demonstrating their juvenile behavior. I was bored with the story and a bit irritated by the obnoxious attitude of the characters. They do not suffer any consequences. And they never learn any valuable lessons. Save yourself some time. Read a Kurt Vonnegut book or watch a Robert Eggers movie instead.
  • Whitney Houston: I Wanna Dance with Somebody, 2022 - ★★½ January 17, 2023
This biopic carries a tone like it is produced on a made-for-television movie of the week. Although a moderately enjoyable watch, I felt like I could have watched it on the Lifetime television channel on any given weekend.
  • The Whale, 2022 - ★★★★ January 17, 2023
I thoroughly enjoyed watching Brendan Fraser's superb acting performance in this movie. And it is terrific to see Darren Aronofsky keep his heavy-handed, thrust in our face directing style for this movie toned down compared to his preceding films.
  • Easter Sunday, 2022 - ★★ December 10, 2022
The movie is okay. I didn't really laugh or barely even give up a chuckle. I appreciate the straightforward and simple nature of the plot.
  • Into the Deep, 2022 - ★½ December 10, 2022
It is filled with the same overused tropes we have seen in numerous horror movies before now. The movie felt like we are wandering through well-trodden water.
